Number 4 is really kind of funny. "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing". So aspartame is made from "feces" from a microorganism. Okay...
And how is that different from how the alcohol in your beer or wine is the waste product of the yeast that ferment the sugar into alcohol? Or how cheeses that are made from cultures of different bacteria or molds (blue cheese)? Or antibiotics that are made from things different bacteria produce?
All sorts of foods and things come from cultures of different organisms.
