They FBI can be trusted with nothing.
The organization was created in secret by a FDR and a rogue AG in 1908 as the "Bureau of Investigation" and Congress wasn't even notified that it existed for 5 months. Their first try was to make it part of the Department of the Treasury but that was outlawed so they went behind everyone's back and did it anyway.
This abortion of a law enforcement organization is nothing more than a domestic spy agency and should have been abolished and outlawed by Congress the moment it was revealed, and its creators sent to prison.
Unfortunately, during their first 5 months of existence they had amassed so much blackmail material on the dirty members of Congress they were forced to allow them to continue.
The whole thing has been a corrupt and criminal enterprise ever since.
It needs to go, and a bunch of people need to be in jail.
