15 minute cities will not work in small towns. The area around them is what produces the food for the cities. There will not be a food shortage in the urban areas, just the metro areas. When you know the dairy farmer, the vegie farmer, the chicken, pork, beef farmer food is not an issue.
BTW: we are also armed to the teeth.
