My entire adult work history, since Carter unto the end of Trump I, wages were depressed. Inflation and increasing illegals were main culprits.
Now saying wages continue to rise under Trump II sounds very much like, the rate of decrease in wages is less than historical trends.

I keep receipts. Today I spent $148 for the exact same purchase that cost me $98 June 24th last year.
Receipts for food purchases. Some items are less in price. Overall, same exact purchase is up. My food shopping is very predictable. On purpose as part of my personal research to track costs.
