The author of that meme never mentioned Moynihan, the sponsor of the 1990 repeal of the communist clause.
There are so many things posted as memes which inflame my blood. But some research reveals that it is complete hogwash.
While many of the memes make me wish that they were true, lying like the "Loyal Left" is not a good look. Let them lie and we will stick with the truth.

The McCarran-Walter Act of 1952 had nothing to do with Muslims holding office - and would be blatantly unconstitutional if it did.
