I live in one of the first counties declared a disaster during the hurricane Helene that blew through Georgia. I am just over $40k in repairs that insurance did not cover, We are not in a flood zone but got flooded with 27 inches of water within 36 hours, WTF? and I am still waiting on FEMA.
