Indeed. How do the many dual-citizenship senators and congressmen resolve their oaths to both countries simultaneously? Seems to me that one negates the other, leaving, in effect, no oath to anybody at all. How does the constituency of those bodies permit the presence of such duplicity? It seems to me that the entire concept and culture of loyalty and solemn oath obligation has become so diluted as to render it as impotent as those giving it.
