One of the core tenets of a free press is to serve as a watchdog of government and to hold them accountable for their actions, misdeeds and lawlessness. Apparently Media Matters does not hold to these truths to be self evident as they coordinate with government to attack and disparage the free press.
What are we to make of media organizations when they are the willing tools of tyranny? In the case of Media Matters, they are not a news organization as they attempt to portray themselves. Media Matters is a far left wing anti-free press organization intent on suppressing the free press, they are the propaganda ministry of the far left whose mission it is to suppress and attack all who wish to report and expose the malicious intent of leftist government and the shredding of the U.S. Constitution.
Media Matters is a sickness, a malignant colonic tumor that has embedded itself into the bowels free society, spreading its necrotic tendrils into the arena of free ideas in order to strangle all who speak against the misdeeds of destructive, leftist, big government policies.
As government subverts the constitution, uses government agencies to attack its political foes, pleads the fifth amendment in inquiries, illegally destroys and shreds critical documents, allows Americans to die for their own perceived political benefit, seizes freedom and rights from its citizens, fails to protect american borders and citizens, treats veterans as second class citizens, and lies, cheats and steals from hard working Americans, what does Media Matters attack? Those who would attempt to expose this tyranny, this lawlessness; the criminal behavior and actions of the current administration.
In the surreal echo-sphere that is the liberal left, the forces of mediocrity are beginning to coalesce around the concept of "male privilege" and "white privilege". This concept is borne and devolved from their political correctness and cultural Marxist strategies to control, limit and deny free speech to anyone they disagree with.
This is another cynical attempt to deny freedom of thought to dissenters and the dissemination of that thought. The degenerate cousin of this depraved entropic meme is the "check your privilege" command. When a person in a minority group says to you, "check your privilege" they have relegated you to the status of a thought criminal, and they assume the duties of the thought police or that of a parent scolding a recalcitrant child in this dystopian reprobate concept run amok. To them, they have now symbolically duct-taped your mouth shut, censored your impure thoughts and you now must now comply to their smug, putrid, diseased mindset. Does this celebrate and reward excellence or does this celebrate and reward corrupt egalitarian mediocrity?
Has society become so sick as to allow this deteriorating gangrene mindset to emerge? The amount of time and energy that has been devoted to this sickness rather then in a productive and positive way to improve peoples lives is perhaps an indicator of society's sickness and the intellectual gangrene that has set in to the profligate liberal mindset intent on leaving behind the bloody entrails of factual dialogue and intellectual intercourse.
There can be no civil discourse with the advocates of this lunacy, to accept this rot is to be relegated to spend eternity sitting alone in the Orwellian Chestnut Tree Cafe with the other tortured and discarded thought criminals. Anyone who uses these false memes must be dismissed out of hand and discarded as the intolerable lunatics that they are.
The Rolling Stones sang: "he can't be a man 'cause he doesn't smoke the same cigarettes as me", the left is saying "he can't have a thought, 'cause he doesn't think the same putrid thoughts as me".
I can't get no satisfaction or logical and rational civil discourse apparently for that matter.

Well you can polish up a turd as much as you want but it will still stink like MSNBC's sycophantic approval of everything Obama. Perhaps the left and the media analyzers on the left are so knee deep in their own messiah complex that they are unable to see the tyranny for the loss of civil liberties (read this as forest for the trees you lefty butt sniffers).
When MSNBC and other leftist cronies of the Obama Administration attempt to minimize, under report, ignore and otherwise obfuscate the facts about the loss of civil liberties, targeting of individuals and organizations, and the arrogant power grabbing under the current administration, do you really believe that the American public do not see and understand what is happening?
Perhaps we are not as stupid as you believe us to be for not listening to this rabid complicity in the media. Maybe, just maybe the American public is is a bit tired of having their olfactory senses assaulted by the heaping, daily load of manure that the leftist media is serving us in generous portions. We are smart enough to know when to hold our own nose. More and more people are wising up to the foul stench that you attempt to serve us you lousy piles of crap.
