Julian Assange associate: It was a leak, not a hack and the DNC insider is NOT Russian

A hole has been blown in the Democratic Party, and mainstream media’s narrative, that Russia was behind the leak of DNC emails to Wikileaks.

On Sunday, a former British ambassador to Uzbekistan, Craig Murray, said he has met the person who gave the DNC emails and it was not the Russians.

“I know who leaked them,” Murray told The Guardian. “I’ve met the person who leaked them, and they are certainly not Russian and it’s an insider. It’s a leak, not a hack; the two are different things.

Murray, who is a close associate of Wikileaks head Julian Assange, explained it further on his website.

“As Julian Assange has made crystal clear, the leaks did not come from the Russians. As I have explained countless times, they are not hacks, they are insider leaks – there is a major difference between the two,” he wrote. “And it should be said again and again, that if Hillary Clinton had not connived with the DNC to fix the primary schedule to disadvantage Bernie, if she had not received advance notice of live debate questions to use against Bernie, if she had not accepted massive donations to the Clinton foundation and family members in return for foreign policy influence, if she had not failed to distance herself from some very weird and troubling people, then none of this would have happened.”

It’s the reality that so many in the mainstream media ignore. It wasn’t about who leaked the emails. It was about what they said.

Assange himself vehemently denied Russia had any involvement in the hacks during an interview right before Election Day.

But, as Murray pointed out, the press is going along with the narrative that Russia delivered the presidency to Donald Trump and will attack any media source that doesn’t...

IEEE-USA wants Trump to end H-1B lottery

The 200,000-member IEEE-USA, the U.S. arm of the world’s largest technology professional organization, intends to urge President-elect Donald Trump to quickly replace the random H-1B lottery with a system that gives priority to companies that pay the best wages.

This proposal would also move large H-1B users to the back of the visa distribution line. For this to happen, all it would take is an executive order by the president, the engineering group says.[ Find out how to get ahead with our career development guide for developers. | The art of programming is changing rapidly. Separately, the IEEE-USA also wants Trump to prod the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate what it claims is discrimination against U.S. workers by H-1B visa-using companies. This discrimination occurs when U.S. workers are replaced by visa-holding workers.

Trump has immediate “opportunities to start pushing back against outsourcing through the H-1B program,” said Russell Harrison, director of government relations, for the IEEE-USA.

The government labels companies that have 51 or more full-time workers, of whom 15 percent or more are H-1B workers, as...

The Obama Legacy:

Nutjobs Glenn Beck and Samantha Bee Bond Over Their Fear and Loathing of Trump...

TheBlaze founder Glenn Beck interviewed Full Frontal host Samantha Bee on his show Thursday as the first part in an effort between the rightwing talker and the leftwing comedian to find common ground.

“We’re doing a piece with Glenn,” Bee said. “And so you [Beck] generously invited me to be on your show. We are merging worlds in a way.”

Beck and Bee — both vociferous critics of President-elect Donald Trump from the right and the left, respectively — bonded over their mutual distress at the election outcome, the dangers of “fake news,” and their desire to “stand up for people who are imperiled” now that Trump won.

While they both conceded that there are “many things” they don’t agree on, Bee said, “It’s okay with us to agree with each other on some things. I feel like there’s a shared humanity, right?”

Beck agreed and complimented Bee’s humor, saying that he finds her “very, very funny.”

Beck suggested that the way he responded to Barack Obama’s victory in 2008 was comparable to Bee’s response to Trump’s election.

“Does it bother to you that we seem to be playing musical chairs, that under the last president I was freaked out and thinking...

Fake News: CIA Says Russia Preferred Trump

The Washington Post has unflaggingly stirred up hysteria over so-called "fake news," so it's extra-ironic that the media giant is one of the country's foremost purveyors of the same. In the Post's world, a bunch of guys with Dorito-stained fingers who blog in their parents' basements have done everything from manipulating the election to provoking a nutcase into an attack on a D.C. pizzeria. Meanwhile, the Post's banner headline on Saturday was the innuendo-filled and poorly sourced announcement "CIA: Russia favored Trump," which sounds like fake news, too.

If it's true that the CIA concluded that Russia deliberately intervened in November's election to tilt it toward Donald Trump, that ought to worry Americans, but not because Trump is a Russian mole or Vladimir Putin's agents stuffed electronic ballot boxes. Rather, it is cause for concern that American intelligence analysts are either not very bright or politically corrupted enough to really believe such poppycock. Meanwhile, the Post and much of the mainstream media, in their mania to discredit Trump, will publish almost any sort of "news" nowadays, even if it's as fake as the nonsense that makes up much of the blogosphere.

The source of the Post's "scoop" is unnamed: "officials briefed on the matter." In the story, the damning evidence is vaguely traced back to a September briefing of congressional leaders by a trio of Obama appointees: FBI director James Comey, Homeland Security secretary Jeh Johnson, and counter-terrorism adviser Lisa Monaco. Alert readers will note that none are actual intelligence professionals, while all are practiced political hacks. Comey's pre-FBI experience was mostly as a government lawyer, and his corruption in favor of Obama during the Clinton email scandal is well known. Johnson, like Comey, is a lawyer, but with close ties to the Democratic Party, who did turns in the Clinton and Obama administrations. Monaco is yet another Democrat lawyer who...
