Little Marco Rubio Joins the Senate Legion of Doom in Pushing for Gun Confiscation

Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) sent a letter to the Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) urging them to consider his bipartisan “red flag” bill (S.7), during the committee’s next business meeting.

Rubio introduced this bill in March 2018, following the Parkland Massacre of February 2018.

A one-pager of the legislation can be found here.

That same year, Florida enacted its own red flag gun confiscation order, becoming one of the first red states to fold to anti-gun pressure.

The letter can be read in its entirety here.

Following the Dayton and El Paso shootings, Rubio believes that it is now the appropriate time to pass this legislation:
The two horrific shootings that occurred this past weekend demonstrates why we must enact common sense reforms. Risk protection orders continue to have bipartisan support.

Unfortunately, neither state in which these unimaginable tragedies occurred currently have a “red flag” law. It is too soon to say whether the deranged culprits who carried out these unspeakable acts would have been “flagged,” however, the options available to family members and law enforcement are varied, and often limited.
He then broke down what his bill entails:
My bill simply seeks to incentivize states to enact their own risk protection orders, and ultimately, allow those who seek to...

Castro’s Stunt Outing Trump Supporters Backfired Major, Could Cost His Seat

Texas Rep. Joaquin Castro thought it was a wise idea to name people in his area who donated to President Donald Trump.

But not only did Rep. Castro get attacked by many for doing what he did, he made another mistake and it could cost him his next election, The Washington Examiner reported.

Edward Steves, owner of a manufacturing firm that he said is the oldest company in San Antonio, told the Washington Examiner that he once hosted a fundraiser at his house that raised over $300,000 for Julián Castro’s mayoral campaign.

But Joaquin’s tweet and follow-up statements chastising local Trump donors may backfire for his own reelection races, Steves said.

“He’s probably got 44 people that are going to contribute heavily to whoever might run against him in the primaries,” Steves said.

Donald Kuyrkendall, president of a San Antonio commercial real estate company, shared concern about his family’s safety and wondered what the Castro brothers hoped to gain by the Twitter outing of Trump donors.

“Were his intentions to incite people to picket Bill Miller’s barbecue or to come to Don Kuyrkendall’s house, you know, assault my wife, make nasty comments?” Kuyrkendall said.

Kuyrkendall said that in wake of the tweet, his lawyer reminded him that he once donated to Julián Castro’s mayoral campaign.

Not a wise idea by any stretch of the imagination before, but now it is one that injured himself in his efforts to intimidate supporters of...

Democrats Propose Creation Of National Trump Voter Registry

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congressional Democrats recently noticed a problem in our nation: many of the people who voted for Donald Trump have yet to be beaten up.

Our Democratic leaders in Washington decided it was time to solve this problem because they are really good at identifying problems we didn't even know we had and then solving them.

Presidential candidate Joaquin Castro, who spearheaded the program, explained, "The solution is simple and cost-effective: a national Trump Voter Registry, forcing anyone who voted for Trump to register so people around them will be able to be cautious and vigilant while living among such reckless hate."

Anyone who voted for Trump will have to sign up on the national registry's website. Then, their name and address will automatically appear on a map of the country so that their neighbors can avoid them and hopefully beat them up.

The bill also contains many other requirements for Trump voters:
  • They cannot live within 1,000 feet of a school, park, or civilized Democrat.
  • They must knock on all doors of other people in their neighborhood when they move in and identify themselves as a Trump voter.
  • They are required to wear their MAGA hats at all times so they can easily be identified as a legitimate target of harassment.
  • They must hire a crier to go before them and shout "SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!" whenever they go outside.
  • They are not allowed to get a job or conduct commerce unless they agree to get the Mark of Obama on their hand and forehead.
"With this new registry, we can finally have healing in our nation," said Nancy Pelosi. "Especially Trump voters. They'll have to have a lot of healing after they get punched in the...

‘He Doesn’t Know How Volatile This Issue Is’: Pro-Gun Group Responds To Trump Gun Control

A gun rights group warned President Donald Trump Monday not to underestimate the volatile effect proposing gun control legislation could have on his base.

Gun Owners of America (GOA), a gun rights organization with more than 2 million members, called on Trump and other lawmakers to reject calls for gun control in the wake of the El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, shootings.

“We think it’s important for Congress and the president to know that gun owners do not support the gun control measures Trump is advocating,” Erich Pratt, the group’s senior vice president, said in exclusive comments to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“Many presidents have failed to recognize how gun control motivates voters. He doesn’t know how volatile this issue is. It will be interesting to see how the grassroots react to his comments,” Pratt added.

Pratt was referring to remarks Trump made Monday about his administration’s plans to work with lawmakers on several gun control measures including “red flag” laws, which would facilitate the confiscation of weapons if someone has been deemed dangerous.

“It is frustrating to see President Donald Trump’s continued support for so-called ‘red flag’ laws. These ‘red flag’ laws, properly known as gun confiscation orders, are incompatible with actual due process and allow for the confiscation of...
