MYSTERY: Before His Grisly Suicide, Top FBI Agent Was Questioned About NYPD Sister’s Double Murder-for-Hire Plot

The mysterious case and public death of FBI boss Salvatore “Sal” Cincinelli just gotten even stranger.

The FBI has said nothing publicly about the grisly public suicide death of one of the Bureau’s top financial crimes supervisors who reportedly shot and killed himself on a crowded nite-club dance floor in July.

But FBI insiders said Cincinelli was questioned by FBI about his knowledge of a murder-for-hire plot shortly before his public suicide. Cincinellu’s sister, Valerie, was arrested in May for allegedly plotting to kill her ex husband and the teenage daughter of her boyfriend.

Cincinelli’s sister is a New York City Police officer.

Six weeks after her arrest, her FBI brother was reportedly out partying with FBI colleagues at the Container Bar, a trendy watering hole in Austin, TX. The group had been drinking and dancing, according to sources. Later in the evening Cincinelli reportedly turned the gun on himself on a crowded dance floor.

Cincinelli was 41.

Now FBI officials said the Bureau questioned Cincinelli before his death about his sister’s alleged plot. Insiders said FBI brass were following prorocols to question Cincinelli about the case against his sister. Was the FBI Cincinelli implicated in the case? Or was Cincinelli making waves at FBI because he had problems with the way the case was built against his sister?

FBI officials have not made any public comments about Cincinelli’s death. Insiders, likewise, said top management has been silent on the situation.

“It (Cincinelli’s questioning) could have been routine or could have been more,” one FBI insider said. “The timing is problematic because he killed himself so it is difficult to get the real story.”

But the FBI’s Cincinelli shared with some colleagues that he believed his sister was, in part, being “set up,” according to Bureau insiders. Apparently. Cincinelli has issues with some of the evidence collected against his sister, insiders said.

The FBI had wiretapped Valerie Cincinelli’s phones in March and the Feds also had her boyfriend wearing a wire to gather evidence against her. The case went on for months, according to federal records.

That boyfriend, John DiRubba, was the FBI’s star witness in the case, working undercover to gather evidence against Cincinelli. Justice Department officials said NYPD Officer Cincinelli, 34, asked DiRubba in February to hire a hitman to kill...

Pentagon Launches New Program to Fight “Viral” Internet Content

The Pentagon has declared war on memes as DARPA launches a new program to fight “polarizing viral content” before it spreads.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is seeking to create software with the capability to “automatically detect, attribute, and characterize falsified multi-modal media to defend against large-scale, automated disinformation attacks.”

The software will scan news stories, photos and videos to identify “polarizing viral content” and stop its spread to eliminate “malicious intent” entirely.

Titled Semantic Forensics, the program will run content through a myriad of algorithms to identify inconsistencies and identify a story or a meme as inauthentic or fake. The system will also pinpoint the origin of the meme, the intent behind it and predict the impact of its spread.

Given that the program doesn’t take into account the fact that so-called “trusted sources” in the mainstream media have been responsible for some of the biggest fake news stories in modern history, such as Trump-Russia election collusion, the software will only succeed in eliminating dissident narratives.

As Helen Buyniski warns, the true intent of the program “seems to be to stamp out dissent.”
“To hear them tell it, the Pentagon just wants to even the playing field between the ‘good guys’ – the fake-hunters pursuing the cause of truth in media – and the ‘bad guys’ sowing discord one slowed-down Nancy Pelosi speech at a time,” she writes. “But the Pentagon’s targets aren’t limited to deepfakes, the bogeyman-of-the-month being used to justify this unprecedented military intrusion into the social media and news realm, or fake news at all. If the program is successful after four years of trials, it will be expanded to target all “malicious intent” – a possibility that should send chills down the spine of any journalist who’s ever disagreed with...

California appeals court overturns sole conviction in Kate Steinle death

A California state appeals court Friday overturned the lone conviction against an undocumented immigrant who shot and killed Kate Steinle on the San Francisco waterfront in 2015, a case that drew national attention and became a flashpoint in the debate over illegal immigration.

Jose Inez Garcia-Zarate, who was in the U.S. illegally and had been deported to his native Mexico five times, was acquitted in November 2017 of first- and second-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, and assault with a semi-automatic weapon. He was convicted of one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

On Friday, the 1st District Court of Appeal in San Francisco overturned...

Media Prepare Massive Public Relations Campaign to Spin Spygate

On Aug. 23, it was announced that former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe had just been hired to be a contributor on CNN.

While surprising to many, the development is hardly out of character for the current news industry, which already has more than a handful of former law enforcement and intelligence community officials from the Obama and Clinton eras appearing on air as contributors.

John Brennan, James Clapper, and Michael Hayden are only the biggest names currently working as television news analysts; there’s an army of lesser-known former spooks and agency apparatchiks who appear regularly to opine on current events.

What’s unusual about the McCabe hiring is that CNN intentionally overlooked why McCabe is no longer at the FBI, and instead sold an alternative version of what happened there.

In CNN’s version of how his firing went down, McCabe is a heroic law enforcement official who was just doing his important job, when he became the target of a presidential vendetta.

That’s not what happened, actually.

McCabe was fired in March 2018 by then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions from his top position at the FBI at the recommendation of Department of Justice Inspector General (IG) Michael Horowitz. The IG’s office had demonstrated after an exhaustive investigation that McCabe had repeatedly lied about leaking information from active investigations to the news media, even going so far as to blame some of his own colleagues for the leaks he was responsible for.

Horowitz’s report on the matter was completely damning for McCabe, and you can read it for yourself, if you so desire.

So McCabe and CNN’s media hosts will attempt to spin his hiring as a noble endeavor: A man wrongly fired is being given a national news platform to defend himself and others who are also supposedly the targets of this vindictive president exacting revenge through federal agencies. This is a sham.

McCabe is being given this platform now for one reason only: It’s an attempt to control the national consensus as the Spygate scandal is soon to gain more visibility, with the coming release of...

Modeling Agent Alleged to Have Dirt on Jeffrey Epstein Vanishes ‘Like a Ghost’

A modeling agency CEO alleged to possess key information regarding the late Jeffrey Epstein’s sex crimes has disappeared like a “ghost… without a trace,” according to the Daily Mail.

The British tabloid says the former Epstein associate is Frenchman Jean-Luc Brunel, who founded the New York City-based modeling agency MC2. The Mail states investigators have sought assistance from authorities in the United States, Europe, and Brazil to track down the elusive Brunel.

Former MC2 model Svetlana Pozhidaeva was photographed at Epstein’s $77-million Manhattan mansion in 2016. Reports of Brunel’s disappearance comes after French prosecutors launched a separate investigation into Epstein’s alleged sex crimes.

Last week, the Daily Mail published a photo of Brunel cuddling with Ghislaine Maxwell, a longtime friend and alleged procurer of underage girls, at Epstein’s “Little Saint James” private Caribbean Island.

Epstein owned a home in Paris, where Brunel also reportedly lived. The agency boss is said to have visited Brazil at the beginning of the summer to search for new modeling talent. However, locating Brunel has proven difficult, as investigators say he is “uncontactable” because he has no address or social media accounts, according to the Mail.

Last week, a judge formally ended the criminal case against Epstein, but not without a final tribute to the women who spoke out against the financier.

U.S. District Judge Richard M. Berman took the procedural step of adding his initials to an order dismissing the indictment that charged the 66-year-old Epstein with conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors and sex trafficking of minors in the early 2000s in Florida and New York.

In requesting the action 10 days earlier, U.S. Attorney Geoffrey S. Berman, who is not related to the judge, noted that the law required the dismissal after Epstein killed himself in jail August 10th while he was awaiting trial.

Though anticipated, Berman’s action included a reference to a last Tuesday court hearing where 16 women spoke about their claims against Epstein of sexual abuse, some committed when they were under the age of...
