Not quite piracy? Berlin senator CORRECTS story of US ‘snatching' Germany-bound masks
According to Berlin’s Senator for the Interior, Andreas Geisel, a shipment of protective masks left a 3M factory in China last week and arrived in Bangkok, Thailand, from where they were due to be shipped to Berlin’s police force. However, the masks never arrived.
Geisel claimed on Friday that they had been rerouted by 3M to the US, after President Donald Trump threatened the American firm would “have a big price to pay” if it continued to supply foreign customers over domestic clients.
Geisel, a Social Democrat, accused the US of engaging in “modern piracy,” and Berlin Mayor Michael Müller called the apparent mask swiping “inhumane and unacceptable.”
But cracks in Geisel’s story soon emerged. 3M denied diverting any shipment, and stated that it had never received an order from the German city. The White House too denied any involvement.
Geisel has walked back his accusation, claiming on Saturday that the masks had been ordered from a German firm, and not from 3M. “We are trying to work out the details,” with the police department in Berlin, his office stated on Twitter.

Dems have ‘weaponized’ coronavirus crisis to push radical agenda
Victor Davis Hanson ripped Democrats for trying to manipulate the coronavirus crisis in order to institute their own agenda as America continues to deal with the pandemic.
“We’re right in the middle of people dying. And so people are advocating to manipulate the crisis and more importantly, to enact an agenda that didn’t have 50 percent support or we saw that in Democratic primaries,” Hanson said on “The Ingraham Angle” Thursday.
“Nobody wanted the Green New Deal or Medicare-for-all or open borders.”
“And then [they] also presume that things were bad before,” he continued, “but the reason that we’re weathering this disaster, the way we are is that we have the world’s best economy.”

Hanson was reacting to Democratic politicians pushing a progressive agenda in coronavirus economic stimulus legislation.
“We need it big, we need it bold and we need it futuristic, which means green,” Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said about infrastructure in “phase four” package.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., rejected criticism that she tried to squeeze the Democrats’ wish lists into the recently passed stimulus bills, saying “that isn’t so.” She said proposals to help states implement “vote by mail” and boosting Postal Service funding are needed to safely conduct elections amid the pandemic.

The Schoolwork My Kids Are Bringing Home Exposes Public Schools’ Radical Leftist Politics
Schools are likely to continue home e-learning efforts in the upcoming weeks as we continue through the pandemic. Parents, use this time to find out what your kids are studying.
“Mom, can you look at this assignment?” A few weeks ago, before the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic forced my school-aged children home, I looked at the homework sheet my high school-age child was referring to and quickly realized what prompted the question. The freshman world history reading assignment was about parents raising “theybies.”
Scratching my head, I read through the assigned article, which included definitions such as “gender is a social construct” followed by leading questions asking students to regurgitate gender theory. The next day, my child received an assignment that taught him about critical race theory before he read an article about when black singer Lil Nas X’s song “Old Town Road” was kicked off the country music charts. The class? Physics.
What Are My Kids Learning?
Needless to say, now with my kids home and me overseeing their daily e-learning, this is a great opportunity to take a deeper look at the left-wing theories on race and gender, not to mention climate change, that public schools are pushing on my children.
My 11-year-old middle school son was assigned the following two videos for “Integrated Global Studies” class. The first is an alarmist video that promotes donations to a bogus fund. The second has countless grammatical errors and lacks any sort of sourcing.
Before Halloween last fall, the same school sent out this memo regarding cultural appropriation, sharing a Teen Vogue video and explaining that cultural appropriation is “defined as the unacknowledged or inappropriate adoption of the customs, practices, ideas, etc. of one people or society by members of another.” (So I guess the school’s annual “Luau Madness” party is also off).
Over the last several years, my children’s schools have pushed for “equity,” which usually starts with a survey or audit about “school climate.” Of course, the ideologues hired to do the surveys always find that certain groups feel oppressed, and thus interventions are necessary to create what they deem as safe learning environments where everyone feels welcome. But only certain dimensions of identity politics, particularly race, gender, and sexuality, are measured. If you are...
China Targets Thousands Who Spoke Out About The Coronavirus Epidemic
This photo taken on February 7, 2020 shows a photo of the late ophthalmologist Li Wenliang with flower bouquets at the Houhu Branch of Wuhan Central Hospital in Wuhan in China's central Hubei province.
The ruling Chinese Communist Party has targeted thousands of people for speaking out about the coronavirus epidemic in the country since it began in late December in the central city of Wuhan, an overseas-based rights group has said.
"Human rights violations surged in China since the Chinese government began implementing draconian measures in response to COVID-19," the Chinese Human Rights Defenders (CHRD) network said in a report this week.
"These include deleting critical information online, censoring the media, punishing whistleblowing doctors, detaining and disappearing independent journalists and government critics, and kicking out foreign reporters," it said.
Since state news agency Xinhua first reported that President Xi Jinping would lead "a people's war" on the epidemic on Jan. 20, police had handled 5,111 cases of "fabricating and deliberately disseminating false and harmful information," according to a Feb. 21 statement from the ministry of public security.
CHRD said it has documented 897 cases between Jan. 1 and March 26 involving Chinese internet users penalized by police for their online speech or info-sharing about the coronavirus epidemic, based on official information in the public domain.
The cases were spread across almost every province, region and municipality in China, CHRD said, adding that 467 people were sanctioned in February alone.
"The punishments handed out by police fall largely into several types: administrative detention, criminal detention, enforced disappearance, fines, warnings/interrogations, forced confessions and 'educational reprimand'," the CHRD report said.
Some 18.5 percent of people were placed in administrative detention, which can be handed down to a maximum of 15 days without trial, while 17.8 received an...

Hollywood Is Run By Communists:
Fired IG Atkinson wrote to Schumer 2 weeks ago trying to stir up trouble
Michael Atkinson was fired for cause, but President Trump is accused of firing him out of revenge. Atkinson actually betrayed President Trump and tried to overturn an election. He even wrote a letter to Senator Schumer two weeks ago trying to stir up more trouble.
President Trump is supposed to keep this guy on the payroll?
The NY Times wrote two days ago, “Mr. Trump ousting the inspector general [of the intel community], Michael K. Atkinson, because he lost confidence in him, the president wrote in a letter to leaders of the two congressional intelligence committees. He gave no further explanation, but a late-night dismissal coming as the world’s attention is gripped by the coronavirus pandemic raised the specter of reprisal.”
The President said, “it is vital that I have the fullest confidence in the appointees serving as inspectors general.”
The only mistake President Trump made was keeping him as long as he did. Deep State Atkinson tried to stage a coup to overturn the election with a fraudulent complaint.
Now we know more.
THE LETTER
Just two weeks before his ousting, Atkinson wrote to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and “took a thinly veiled swipe” at officials who did not defend the whistleblower, including, presumably, the president, although Atkinson did not cite specific names, Politico reported.
“As you know, the past six months have been a searing time for whistleblowers and for those who work to protect them from reprisal or threat of reprisal for reporting alleged wrongdoing,” Atkinson said.
Atkinson went on to write:
People may spend their entire careers publicly encouraging whistleblowers to come forward and sound the alarm if they observe suspected abuse or wrongdoing in the federal government. Many of those same people proclaim publicly that they will stand by whistleblowers and protect them from reprisal or threat of reprisal when they do sound the alarm.
Those repeated assurances of support for whistleblowers in ordinary matters are rendered meaningless if whistleblowers actually come forward in good faith with information concerning an extraordinary matter and are allowed to be vilified, threatened, publicly ridiculed, or — perhaps even worse — utterly abandoned by fair-weather whistleblower champions. It is precisely when the stakes are highest, and the conditions searing, that public officials must well and faithfully discharge the duties of their offices.
According to Politico, Atkinson’s letter came in response to Schumer’s request that all inspectors general investigate “instances of retaliation against anyone who has made, or in the future makes, protected disclosures of presidential misconduct.”
Poor Atkinson, he wanted to undermine and destroy the President and keep his job.
Sen. Grassley is now demanding more details from the President for the firing. It seems it’s in the rules. How about prosecuting Atkinson? He’s the one who changed the rules, allowing hearsay in a complaint, changing the rule for submitting second-hand information right before the ‘whistleblower’ submitted his complaint.
The ‘whistleblower,’ Eric Ciaramella, was nothing but a gossip who didn’t like...
As California Receives Federal Help, Newsom Confirms State Is Bailing Out Illegal Aliens
Although President Donald Trump has said that the federal stimulus package aimed at supporting a nation battling the coronavirus outbreak will focus on American citizens, illegal immigrants will be in line for support in a California relief plan.
Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom said Friday that the state will support businesses that cannot qualify for federal aid administered by the Small Business Administration because they are operated by illegal immigrants, as well as those operated by citizens
“[W]e always consider those that are documented, those that are undocumented, those that are living in mixed-status families,” Newsom said Friday, according to The Daily Caller.

“Just yesterday, I announced the work we are doing to help support small businesses. I very specifically mentioned in my remarks yesterday that there are many businesses, tens of thousands of businesses that do not and cannot get the support of the SBA,” he said.
Federal small business relief comes with strings attached that could mean businesses operated by illegal immigrants cannot get the money.
Newsom announced a $50 million state fund that would provide loan guarantees for small businesses unable to get federal money, including those in low-income communities and those run by illegal immigrants.
During Wednesday’s coronavirus task force briefing, Trump was asked about why “undocumented” immigrants were not included in the checks being given out as part of the relief bill.
Trump picked apart the reporter’s use of the term “undocumented” in asking the question.
“Well, you know, you’re saying ‘undocumented,’ meaning they came in illegally. And a lot of people would say we have a lot of citizens right now that won’t be working. So, what are you going to do? It’s a tough thing. It’s a very terrible — it’s a very sad question,” Trump said.
“I must be honest with you. But they came in illegally. And we have a lot of people that are citizens of our country that won’t be able to...
