Watch: Joe Biden Asks Jill Biden to Switch Seats So He Doesn't Have to Sit Next to VP Harris
Throughout the past few weeks, multiple reports have alleged tension between President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. An awkward interaction between the two on Thursday will certainly not quell those concerns.
According to CNN, Biden and Harris were among many politicians in attendance at the United States Capitol on Thursday. They were there to honor former Senate majority leader and Republican presidential nominee Bob Dole, who died Sunday.
Harris arrived before Biden and found her way to her designated chair with her husband, Doug Emhoff. Afterward, Biden entered the room with his wife Jill Biden and the uncomfortable exchange commenced.
As Biden walked past Harris, he appeared to purposefully avoid eye contact with her.
Once Biden found his seat, he continued to ignore Harris, who stared straight ahead awkwardly. Biden then turned to talk to his wife, Jill.
After the camera cut to a wide shot, Biden could be seen moving toward his wife. The two eventually switched seats, setting Biden further away from Harris.

Audio Reveals Dan Crenshaw’s Attack on Freedom Caucus Colleagues Was Inspired by Paul Ryan.
Congressman Dan Crenshaw recently blasted fellow Republicans in Congress as “performance artists” – a term he admits to learning from establishment Republican Paul Ryan, according to unearthed audio that also features Crenshaw hypocritically admitting that he couldn’t “claim that [he’s] not a performer.”
Speaking at a recent campaign event hosted by the organization Texas Liberty Alliance PAC, Crenshaw went out of his way to critcize members of the House Freedom Caucus as “performance artists” and “grifters.” Counting nearly thirty conservative members such as Representatives Matt Gaetz, Paul Gosar, and Mo Brooks – the House Freedom Caucus is home to some of former President Donald Trump’s staunchest allies and conservatism’s most important voices.
“There’s two types of members of Congress: there’s performance artists and legislators. Now the performance artists are the ones that get all the attention. The ones you think are more conservative because they know how to say slogans real well. They know how to recite the lines that our voters want to hear,” Crenshaw explained during the December event before praising the voting record of “Never Trumper” Rep. Adam Kinzinger.
Crenshaw’s criticisms, however, appear at odds with remarks made on his podcast, Hold These Truths.
During an episode featuring his friend Congressman Mike Gallagher, the two discuss whether or not elected officials should play the role of “social media content creator” or “legislator.” In the discussion, Crenshaw reveals he learned the “legislator” vs. “performer” distinction from establishment Republican and frequent Trump critic Paul Ryan. He even admits to being the latter – the same behavior he publicly condemned in his December event.
“Paul Ryan and I had this discussion like he divides people up up here into legislators and performers, and the truth is is that you have to have a foot in each category to effectively communicate because whether we like it or not America is a giant reality TV show and people want to be entertained to an extent,” he begins.

“That’s easy to do because it’s easy in the conservative side to just sort of list slogans that we know work like lock her up,” he says before mimicking a cheering audience and adding “it just works, right” while laughing.
“I can’t claim that I’m not a performer. I jump out of airplanes in campaign videos. Obviously, I’ve done that stuff because it’s fun, but then you owe people a serious discussion,” he reiterates.

Shocking footage uploaded to social media Sunday night appears to show about a dozen youths forcing their way into an apartment to attack a woman and her mother.
Unconfirmed reports circulated on social media suggest that the young woman who was the target of this invasion and attack earned the ire of the mob by accusing a man who is friends with the mob of sexually assaulting her. It appears that the woman who was attacked leveled this accusation on TikTok, where both her and the man she named have a notable presence in the Minneapolis area.
The main video of the incident opens in an elevator as a group of Somali youths, some wearing face masks apparently to conceal their identity, approach their target. After a minor confrontation with a man walking in the apartment building’s hallway, the majority of the group stands back as two individuals knock on the targeted individual’s door.
After the door is opened, the mob streams into the apartment. “How did you get into my house?” the targeted individual is heard asking before the beating commences. The mob can be seen raining blows on the young woman and her mother for about a minute. One victim tries to cover her head while she’s attacked on a couch. The other is thrown to the floor.
