Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) recently held an “Ask Me Anything” event in Houston, TX where he was confronted about his support of red flag gun control, which began as a polite discussion.
Second Amendment Daily first reported the wild scene that would quickly develop between Crenshaw, his wife and pro-2nd Amendment activists.
At first, Crenshaw attempted to explain that although he does not support any red flag laws that are currently in place, he would theoretically support a red flag law to deprive U.S. citizens of their firearm rights if it was written up to his standards.
“If you’re arresting somebody, then you’re doing it according to the law that already exists,” Crenshaw said.
“Then why do we need red flag laws?” an activist asked in response.
The response is largely unintelligible because an individual believed to be Crenshaw’s wife, Tara Blake, can be heard angrily badgering a different activist for taping the conversation Crenshaw is having about his support for gun control.
In another part of the audio that can be heard, Crenshaw fumbles around trying to provide the specifics of the red flag laws that he is on the record as supporting.
“That’s what we would have to figure out, right? Is it family? Is it doctors? Is it school teachers? Is it only the police doing the investigation?” Crenshaw said, as he explained the type of people he would consider giving the ability to revoke the 2nd Amendment rights of Americans.
Once Crenshaw was flustered, he walked away from the questioning and claimed he just wanted to “encourage people to have a conversation.” This is when someone can be seen grabbing at the videographer’s phone in an attempt to delete the video.
The video can be seen here:
The activist who posed the questioning to Crenshaw posted a lengthy response video here:
“When everything was all said and done, I turned to my friend and reached for the… iPhone, and before I could get to the phone, his wife Tara grabs my phone, ends my broadcast, then tries to delete the video,” he said.
He claims Crenshaw’s wife mistakenly thought she had deleted the video and then handed the iPhone back to the questioner. He was able to restore the video, much to her chagrin. When the activist told a nearby female cop he wanted to file a police report against Crenshaw’s wife, that is when he says Crenshaw lost his cool. The female cop refused to file the report after Crenshaw’s objections.
“This is who these f**king people are. This is how f**king dangerous they are. They will take your f**king property, they will limit your voice, and f**king do whatever they want to you, and law enforcement officers – the ones they want in charge of red flag law – will not do a f**king thing to stop it,” he said.
Just yesterday, we reported that Crenshaw told Kaitlin Bennett of Liberty Hangout in a direct message on Twitter he was plotting red flag gun control measures well before he was elected to Congress last year.
Crenshaw was also photographed earlier this year alongside gun confiscation advocates from the group Mothers Demand Action, funded by billionaire left-wing oligarch Michael Bloomberg, where he discussed further gun control...

It sure didn't take him long to "flip" once he hit the Washington Swamp.
Anyone who says they want to have/start a "Conversation" is lying, that's code for shut up while I lecture you.
If you look at Crenshaws voting record you'd think he was a Libtard.
There are wolves in sheep's clothing who do walk amongst us!! Evidently the lust for power and money once in Washington is overwhelming and soon takes control. We mere mortals in flyover country throw our support behind a wounded veteran thinking that he will honor the Constitution only to be stabbed in the center of our backs!!
Seals do cia dirty work. Seals that want to live do as they are told. Seals that might say too much die tragically. Just an observation.
Saw his voting record and saw it was almost 100% pro Trump. What, exactly, are the libtard votes he cast? BTW good job asking him 'red flag' concern questions. Keep it coming.
