New York Times editor, 49, dies of heart attack one day after posting that he got his booster shot

Carlos Tejada, deputy Asia editor for The New York Times, reportedly died from a heart attack one day after receiving the Moderna booster shot.

According to his social media account, Tejada previously received two Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine shots.

In a December 17 tweet, Tejada’s wife Nora announced on Twitter (in an account that is now locked) that the 49-year-old journalist tragically died of a coronary-related issue the night before. “It’s with deepest sorrow that I have to share with you that Carlos passed away last night of a heart attack. I’ve lost my best friend and our kids lost a truly great dad. I will be off social media for awhile,” she wrote.

In breaking the story, lockdown and vaccine skeptic Alex Berenson, himself an ex-Times reporter who is permanently banned from Twitter (and is now suing the platform as a result), asserted the following on his Substack page:

“On Dec. 16, in Seoul, South Korea, [Tejada] received a Moderna mRNA/LNP ‘booster.’ No clinical trials have ever been conducted to examine the safety or efficacy of mixing various types of these vaccines, and Carlos did not give informed consent, as the consent form was in Korean, a language he could not read.”

Tejada, a former Wall Street Journal editor who went to work for the Times in 2016, had commemorated his third jab on Instagram: “Double-vaxxed. Janssen-fueled, Moderna-boosted. Hey, Omicron: Hit me with your wet snot.”

The Times obituary also included the cause of death, attributing that information to his spouse, and explained that Tejada “helped shape coverage of the global Covid-19 crisis that won a Pulitzer Prize.”

The write-up from the so-called newspaper of record contains no mention of a vaccine issue, however, which perhaps is hardly a surprise in that the corporate media establishment has monolithically adopted a pro-vaccine editorial policy, including frowning upon even those who raise good-faith questions or merely seek additional information about safety or efficacy.

This dismissiveness often extends to those who are anti-mandate but nonetheless favor the COVID vaccination program itself.

In a July Instagram post, Tejada, who worked as an editor in Asia for 13 years, wrote, among other things, that he and his wife benefitted from the “privilege” to get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and he was thankful for the scientists and medical professionals in that context.

The news of the respected journalist’s tragic passing, and particularly the lack of coverage of the timetable, has prompted a huge response on Twitter. Here is just a sampling:

Nostradamus predictions for 2022: cannibals, robots and the rise of cryptocurrency

As the year comes to a close, the news is getting grimmer, folks -- at least according to long-dead, divining daddy Nostradamus.

As the year comes to a close, the news is getting grimmer, folks — at least according to the prophecies of long-dead, divining daddy Nostradamus. The French-plague doctor, astrologer and seer published his famed and widely quoted book “Les Prophéties” in 1555. Chock full of poetic predictions, the book foretells the coming of wars, natural disasters, assassinations, nuclear attacks and revolutions.

Aptly referred to as the Prophet of Doom by his contemporaries, Nostradamus was far from sunny in his future outlook. Inspired by biblical texts and his own plague time trauma, his prose is heavy on words like pestilence, famine, blood, sorrow and fire — and mostly reads like a bedtime story written by a Norwegian black-metal band.

Much like the high on fumes oracle at Delphi, Nostradamus’ predictions are intentionally vague and open to myriad interpretations. For 2021 he alluded to the onset of a zombie apocalypse writing, “Few young people: half-dead to give a start.” Bleak, right? Not if you consider the possibility that Nos was warning us young folk that we are not really living, man, but simply existing. More Matthew McConaughey pep talk than certain quasi-death, dig? He also prophesied that 2021 would bring about a world-ending asteroid that so far (she types with abject trepidation) has yet to make an impact.

So it is with a pocket full of dread — and a thimble full of skepticism — that we take a look at what that bearded harbinger of ruin forecasted for 2022.

Inflation, starvation and cannibalism?

Nostradamus predicted that inflation and starvation will befall us in 2K22, writing, “So high the price of wheat/That man is stirred/His fellow man to eat in his despair.” An essential human truth is that people get hungry and then they get mean — and with US inflation the highest it’s been in nearly four decades, Nos’ warning proves, so far, so true. No word on whether the rising price of wheat inspired this guy or this guy to take a bite out of their fellow man.

AI becomes MVP

A new robot that looks straight out of a science-fiction movie is the latest technological breakthrough.

While easily confused with Björk lyrics, that passage appears to reference the escalation of artificial intelligence. Cue Elon Musk, Time Magazine’s Person of the Year and an unequivocal alien in his own right, taking to robot-making and moving his headquarters south to Austin, Texas. Further evidence that man is destined to be overtaken by immortal machines can be found in the teachings of the aesthetic prophet Jared Leto.

Women Inmates Seek Help as Law Allows ‘Trans Women’ to Share Spaces in California Prisons

Female inmates in California prisons are seeking relief after a new California law allows biological men to be housed at women’s detention centers in the state based on their “gender identity.”

The letter from inside a prison said in part:
So we want to know if you can possible send a copy of the policy and procedures for the screening process of these men coming here. They are getting caught having sex already yesterday a girl was s*ucking a mans d**k on the main yard. WTF? … This is not safe for us.
The law, SB132, is designed to allow prisoners being admitted to prison according to the sex they want to live as rather than their biological sex — resulting in men living with men and even some women living with men:
The bill would require the [Corrections] department, for a person who is transgender, nonbinary, or intersex to only conduct a search of that person according to the search policy for their gender identity or according to the gender designation of the facility where they are housed, based on the individual’s search preference. The bill would additionally require the department to house the person in a correctional facility designated for men or women based on the individual’s preference, except as specified.
The San Francisco Chronicle has been reporting on how the new law is being implemented, including promoting the idea that the trans women, not the real women, face danger in prison.

The Chronicle reported that more than 250 people — the “vast majority” of whom are trans women — are waiting to be transferred to their preferred prison.

“The longer it takes, the greater the odds that they could be raped, beaten or killed,” the Chronicle reported.

The Chronicle report reported:

13 Happenings In 2021 That I Never Would Have Believed 5 Years Ago

Events happened this year that would have been believed impossible not long ago, with new lows and technological advances.

The world seemed to get closer to spinning out of its orbit in 2021. If you’d told me five years ago that men would be treated as women, criminals would not be prosecuted, and censorship would be widespread, I wouldn’t have believed you.

What were once considered the most basic, scientific truths (such as that you’re born with your sex and can’t change it) have broken down. Governments are no longer serving their primary function of providing security and protecting borders.

There are many more. As I reflected on the past year, here are just some of the many things that happened in 2021 that I never would have believed possible if someone had foretold them to me just five years ago.

1. Men As Women

The trend that most would have shocked my grandparents is transgenderism. Men are now competing with women in sports and being housed with women in prison. In 2021, President Biden appointed a man as a four-star admiral and proclaimed this was the “first” “female” “four-star officer.”

2. Blocking Puberty

A second shocker is that parents are enabling young children to try to change genders with dangerous surgeries and puberty blockers. Many public schools have a policy of not telling parents if their son or daughter has adopted a transgender identity at school.
3. Drafting Women

Third, the United States narrowly avoided a draft for women, which was supported by many elected officials in the “conservative” party.

4. Not Prosecuting Crime

In many U.S. cities, serious crimes are not being prosecuted and crime has surged, with a dozen cities breaking annual homicide records.

5. Massive Illegal Immigration

Millions of immigrants have crossed illegally into the United States this year, in record numbers. The Biden administration also considered paying $450,000 in reparations to illegal immigrant families separated at the border.

6. Widespread Censorship...

If you find yourself confused about the mixed guidance when it comes to Covid-19 vaccines and safety concerns, you’re not alone.

While the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is marketing widespread use of the emergency-use vaccines in the U.S. for both old and young alike, many other countries are limiting Covid-19 vaccine use. Health officials around the world are giving varying advice on safety issues as Covid-19 vaccines are given to...
