House Intel chair says we've got a 'big problem' with the FBI if it used 'opposition research' to launch investigation of Trump
Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) said Wednesday on “The Laura Ingraham Show” that Tuesday’s bombshell report revealing that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign paid for the discredited dossier on President Donald Trump and Russia “is just the tip of the iceberg.”
Nunes, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, addressed The Washington Post’s report that Democrats paid for the research that went into crafting the report by retaining the research firm Fusion GPS. Noting that this piece of news is “a major scandal” for Clinton and her party, Nunes said “the only reason” this information came out was because the House Intelligence Committee subpoenaed documents from Fusion GPS.
