Surprise protesters throw chaos into Fox’s Bloomberg Townhall after condescending answer to feisty pro-gun American






Billionaire Mike Bloomberg belittled Americans who say they need to protect their rights to self-defense via the Second Amendment and protesters subsequently stood up to him on live TV.

Instead of airing President Trump’s rally in North Carolina Monday evening, Fox News televised a Bloomberg town hall in Manassas, Virginia, on the eve of the Super Tuesday primaries. Democrat-run Virginia, of course, is at the center of the left’s ongoing efforts to strip Second Amendment protections away from everyday citizens, and Bloomberg is known to be an ardent gun-control proponent.

So it was no surprise when an emotional gun rights supporter in the audience, Clarke Chitty, in his turn with the microphone, asked Bloomberg, “How do you justify pushing for more gun control when you have an armed security detail that is likely equipped with the same firearms and magazines that you seek to ban the common citizen from owning? Does your life matter more than mine or my family’s or these people’s?”

The audience followed that query with loud cheers of support.

Then, after Bloomberg’s condescending and even sarcastic response, a small number of protesters with signs stood up and circled the stage, bringing the telecast to a temporary halt and a commercial break while security swept in.
