Biden asks OPEC to increase oil output, but keeps domestic drilling ban in place
It's even worse than that. We need to buy that oil from the Arabs so that we can use fossil fuels to transport it halfway around the globe PLUS all of the other issues with funding terrorists who hate us. If they are worried about "global climate change" (which they aren't), this would be the absolute DUMBEST thing to do. Why spend more energy transporting energy around the globe? If you admit to needing it, produce it locally.
Bread and circuses people. They say these things on purpose like it's something new. We were still buying even when we were producing more than needed as we sold the crap tar sands oil to foreign countries with no EPA standards.
