I was born in the late 50s. I started to work when I was 4 years old when my folks sent me in the summers from LA to get away from the smog affecting me to my grandparents who lived in Tucson. I worked with my Grandfather who was a gardener. I did this until I was 13 and then the smog in LA did not bother me and I worked in the neighborhoods doing lawns.

When I was 16 I got a job in a restaurant. Then when I graduated my folks showed me the door and I got a job with the phone company and worked my way through college on Installation Technician, and Repair Technician, and line crews in some of the worst areas of Los Angeles and became and Electrical Engineer.

I met my wife at UCLA and she was from a military family and also had grew up working. When we had kids she did not want that for our sons but if they wanted anything they had to earn it. Both have grown and are in their mid to late 30s and gone to different Trade Schools and are successful.
