Khaled Mashal, a leader and founding member of the Islamic terror group Hamas, has called for a global Day of Rage this Friday, saying “this is the time for Jihad.”
Hamas, an Islamic political and military organization that governs the Gaza Strip, carried out a brutal, highly coordinated terror attack on Israel over the weekend, slaughtering more than 1,200 people—including fourteen Americans—and wounding more than 2,100, according to the latest reports. The Palestinian terrorists also took more than 130 civilians hostage and have threatened to execute them on live broadcasts.
Mashal reportedly gave a speech on Tuesday exhorting Muslim across the world to “show anger” and be “martyrs for Al-Aqsa” in what he called “the Friday of Al-Aqsa flood.” Hamas has dubbed their murderous rampage in Israel Saturday “operation Al-Aqsa Flood,” saying the assault was “in defense of the Aqsa Mosque,” the main congregational mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Mashal, according to the Counter Extremism Project, “is the former chief of Hamas’s political bureau and current leader of Hamas’s diaspora office.” In his speech, he reportedly said that the time has come “for jihad to be applied on the ground rather than just in theory.”
“Brother Rachid,” a former Muslim Christian convert who hosts a weekly television show in Morocco, shared the contents of Mashal’s speech on X.
According to Rachid, Mashal asked Muslims all around the world to do the following:
- 1. To show anger, especially next Friday, in Muslim countries and Also among Muslim diaspora around the world; he called it “the Friday of Al-Aqsa flood”, he said this will send a message of rage to Zionists and to America.
- 2. He asked for financial help from all Muslims around the world; to help with their money, he called it “Financial Jihad”. He asked Muslims to give to the fighters of Gaza in order to compensate them for the destruction.
- 3. He asked for political pressure, from Muslim leaders and Muslim nations, to stop Israel’s military invasion of Gaza.
- 4. The most important thing: He asked all Muslims around the world to carry Jihad by their souls; to fight and be martyrs for Al-Aqsa. He wants Muslims to fight against the Jews, starting with Muslims who live in the countries surrounding Israel: Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt (but also other countries), to go to the borders and try to enter, each by his own means. He said: This is the time for Jihad to be applied on the ground rather than just in theory. He asked the Mujahedeen to go in long caravans to [spill] their blood [for] the land of Palestine.

Perhaps it is time to honor Count Vlad Dracu and do our best to imitate his most memorable acts, and turn twenty thousand of them into a forest. The MSM was silent when ISIS was beheading Christians, so they can say quiet when the shoe is on the other foot.
