Video #3 - The officer should not have backed down. By doing so he only served to empower the anarchists that wanted to control the moment. He also put his life at risk by turning his back on the mob.
We've reached the point where, once again, law and order need to start taking precedence over feelings. The Constitution isn't about 'feelings'. It's about justice, fair treatment, law and order.
That said, we should all know what the outcome will be in an interaction with the police. Dependent on our actions the outcome should be predictable. That is a hard nut to crack, but it is where we need to be. This multi-level justice system we have today (and have for awhile) has to end.
Inside the ATL perimeter, if you are not in a neighborhood and you look white, you are a target.
