Most of the stuff I sell online is for a loss. How can the IRS tax me on something I paid $100 bucks, with money that had already been taxed, where I take the depreciation and sell it for 2/3rds of what I bought if for. That is a 33.3% loss.
They will want the other $67.
They just want to create a 1099 audit list for the tens of thousands new IRS agents. If your 1099 transaction isn't declared on your form 1040, you can expect a Willful Failure charge, and a host of jackbooted thugs going through wifi's panty drawer, your kids inheritance, and through your fav pewpew safe.
