The limits of the whole EV thing (range, charging issues, no infrastructure, etc) are there by design. It’s what’s called a “force” by magicians. You think you have a choice when in fact you really don’t. “You have freedom to travel,” they’ll proclaim. “You have an electric vehicle! You’re saving the planet and humanity itself! Go forth and travel as you please! Nevermind the reality that we’ve limited you to 100 miles, there isn’ a viable charging point for 110, those chargers are actually fossil fuel driven or that you can’t take anything along….” TPTB know most of us won’t be corralled into 15 minute cities so they’re going to let us keep or “freedom to move as we please”, it’ll just have to be on their terms.
