Speaking of predictions, read the end of almost all of these novels and see the calculated attempt to enslave and wipe out most of humanity AND discover that the elites always view a segment of the population uneducable and therefore a waste of time. It is those unwashed which actually save humanity. 451 Fahrenheit - people who save literature by memorizing it, including the bible; 1984 - the people Winston meets who live life freely because Big Brother ignores them. Every writer seemed to offer hope for mankind. First just a small group but a small group who have the potential to repropogate into their free existence. In the bible, every attempt to exterminate eventually is thwarted by the brave boy (David), the outnumbered (Joshua) and the baby spared infanticide (Jesus).
