GOP were the silent partner in the theft. Trump had to go because he disrupted the loot by legislation that, although wasn't new, sped up under Obama. Case in point: Obamacare. Remember when GOP promised to tear it apart when they were back in power. They didn't, did they. Obamacare offered healthcare an ATM in guaranteed income if the numbers didn't pan out for them. Healthcare stocks were sky high (while the rest of the market was near the dirt) and we can guess that the portfolios of members of Congress were very healthy. We weren't healthy having lost our once pretty good insurance and paying for the Cadillac insurance of members of Congress.
