Twitter Removes Tweet Reporting ‘Hydroxychloroquine’ As Treatment For Wuhan Virus

Twitter removed a tweet from Fox New host Laura Ingraham that suggested hospitals using hydroxychloroquine as treatment for the Wuhan coronavirus are showing promising results, despite the FDA’s approval of the drug for emergency use.

“Lenox Hill in New York among many hospitals already using hydroxychloroquine with very promising results. One patient was described as ‘Lazarus’ who was seriously ill from Covid-19, already released,” Ingraham tweeted.

According to Mediaite, a Twitter spokesperson said Ingraham’s tweet falls under Twitter’s “misleading information policy under heightened-risk health claims.”

Twitter is censoring the successful use of a drug which is already approved by the FDA.

On Sunday, March 29, the FDA approved the malaria drug for emergency use for patients with COVID-19. According to Yahoo! Finance, the drug is currently being tested in New York hospitals.

According to the FDA, taking hydroxychloroquine sulfate “may benefit certain patients hospitalized with COVID-19 for whom a clinical trial is not...

Several thousand people have been successfully treated with hydroxychloroquine+azithromycin+zinc sulfate for less than $20 per person. Prophylactic intake of 100 mg/day of chloroquine costs about 5 cents/day.

Hardly "misinformation" or "anecdotal evidence".

Twitter hasn't proven this information is incorrect or misleading.

If 350 Million Americans were treated using the HCQ+Zn+Azith cocktail, it would cost 7.5 Billion. If the same 350 million went on prophylactic treatment for 365 days, it would cost 6.4 Billion. That's less than 15 Billion to treat everyone in America for a year. Much less than a 2200 Billion dollar spending bill + 1000 Billion / month in lost productivity.

Do the math. Don't drink fish tank cleaner. Don't vote democrat

six days and you are "cured".... or .... 7-20m days in intensive care on a ventalater ,
here's question no one has asked, at least that i have heard...
how much does a week of intensive care cost these days......and who is going to pay for it???
do a little simple math...cost per dayXnumber of days averageXnumber of expected patients. the number is going to be huge,
how many insurance companies are going to go bankrupt if we don't use the malaria drug on as many patients as possable??

ICU costs vary. Depends. Between $1500 and $4000 / day. NIH estimated costs for ventilation in an ICU as about $1522/day. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15942342

I spent 10 days in a burn unit ICU in 1997 and those cost $13,000 / day back then.

"On Sunday, March 29, the FDA approved..." I think you mean Friday, March 29.

Gosh those Twitter guys are strict. They're even discouraging spam ads for colloidal silver and Gwyneth Paltrow's eau d'poisson candles.
