You have come across a mystery box. But what is inside?
It could be literally anything from the serene to the horrific,
from the beautiful to the repugnant,
from the mysterious to the familiar.
If you decide to open it, you could be disappointed,
you could be inspired, you could be appalled.
This is not for the faint of heart or the easily offended.
You have been warned.

Not sure how RAF Spitfires are a direct part of US history, but it's a nice picture all the same. Now Mustangs...that would work, although they were originally designed to a British Air Ministry spec for the RAF, but rejected for poor high alt performance from the original Allison engine. When the guys at North American installed a Merlin engine, the rest is history. Shelby (AC) Cobra and Ford GT40 were the converse: Brit Chassis, US hearts. Perhaps with UK out of Europe there will be opportunities to work more closely on other cool stuff.
Research Eagle Squadrons
Yes, Eagle Squadrons, but that was Americans doing American things while not fighting for America (directly.)
Now a flock of Juggs or Lightnings or any of the -Cat series, that's History.
Interesting fact, no Mustang pilot got 7 enemy in one combat. It was Hellcats and Lightnings that gave us 7 in one flight. Had the privilege of knowing the Lightning pilot, Col. William Leverette. His exploits are something to read about.
